Kapkatet Tea Factory was inaugurated in 1991 and commissioned in 1993 to manufacture black C.T.C tea. The factory is situated 41 kilometers from Kericho town. It lies along the Kisii Highway, and 296 kilometers from Nairobi. The factory is in Bureti District, Kapkatet Division, Kapkatet location. Kapkatet is a modern factory that produces black tea as its final product.
